US Army Corps of Engineers is organizing a High Performance Building Envelope workshop in colloboration with the Passive House Institute, and Passive House Academy. The workshop will take place in San Antonio, Texas (USA) on March 6-8, 2012 and more than 100 participants from the Army, Navy, AF, GSA and DOE as well as private sector contractors are expected. The workshop, addressing topics relevant to new construction and deep energy retrofits, will be a unique opportunity to learn from the world class experts in building sciences.
US Army Corps of Engineers has opened up registration and invites all interested architects, engineers, project managers, component manufacturers etc. Participation is free of charge. Interested parties should register with Ms. Lyndsey Pruit at lyndsey.n.d.pruitt@usace.army.mil. Additionally, the US Army Corps of Engineers is actively seeking manufacturers of highly efficient components to exhibit at the event. Of particular interest are manufacturers of Passive House suitable components (insulation materials, adhesives, glazings and HRV systems, etc) for commercial buildings.
